At first when i heard their name, in all honesty, i thought, oh ok, whatever. And then last night a watched em at a battle ofI the bands(and i never got the t shirt i was promised before they started) and WOW. Pretty fuckin briliant. probably the best band there. Could hear they have a lot of Fokof influance. A all round good band, go check em out!

How’d you come up with your name and what does it mean?

Wel, i had broken my leg in st 6 and every body calle’d me hoppalongcasidy, so i went to oure drummer ‘heinrich’ and i told him abouth the name and there it all began.

How long have you guys been playing together?

2 years

How’d you meet?

we were friends and i always wanted to have a band, and we started jaming and then we sed this is what we wanted to do for a live

we come from Paarl

What is your favourite song of yourselves?

twee gesig and sienings wyse, but i like all of them

Who is your biggest fan?

dont know the people that stay and watch to see us. but we think it is johnny and his crew

Do you have groupies?

mmmmm some times, depends on the venu

cape town, kuns kafee

What was your best gig and why?

woercester dame vine gig , the crowd were crazy

Who is single in the band and who is in relationships?

evan has a girl. prin6 jurie had one and pierre and heinrich are still planning, but they have some one in mind

Care to share anything that what funny that you experienced on tour or at a gig?

hahahah, ja once we had this gig in good wood, and prin6 jurie had slipe’d on a bottle of beer and he had hid the ground so hard that he was in a coma, it was realy funny

Which part of being in a famous band do you most enjoy?

famous, not jet but getting there. Aaw its the free stuff ja

And which part do you enjoy the least?

the drunk people that always wants to talk to us

What do you do for a living if the band isn’t your living?

the band is oure living.

we have one out u can download it at rhythm records , but is not out jet, still working on it

Jaa it looks realy good, things are starting to happen

not much, onley when i must

onley tight fit jaens and black t shirts, mostley at edgards

with oure buds at parties., or at inus with every body on the farm

What does the future have in store for you?

we wil record a new cd, make a music video, and plan to gig as much as we can

ja, we are planing to go to jhb soon

there is to much, but i think jurrie els no comment
