I am excited to announce that the new Z&G video for the next single ‘Arm Yourself’ is out! It’s already been played on MTV Base, and should be on MK, MNET, SABC, ETV & DSTV soon…

The video was directed by the amazing Warwick Allan, who also did the video for ‘The Knife’ also from Zebra and Giraffe.

Greg from the band says that “this time around we went for a totally different concept and feel and we got amazing results!” . Greg, Warwick and the shooting crew – Willie Nel, Kyle Smith & Varushka Vogt – took a 4 day trip though Gauteng, the Freestate & Kwazulu Natal and basically shot whatever they could. The video was almost totally unplanned and they relied only on the hope that they’d find some amazing people, places and scenarios to shoot… after 4 loooong days, they had a mountain of awesome footage which has been cut down to mere 3 minutes!

They are planning to cut an ‘extended version’ of the video in order to showcase some of the other great footage that had to be ommited – look out for that soon.
